Dear Montfortian,
At present you are looking into the edition of Montfort Mirror. This edition is special because the
activities mentioned have been conducted virtually. Previous two years have taught us HOW TO
CHANGE WITH THE CHANGING TIMES. I am sure being a Montfortian you adapted to the new
environment with ease and whole heartedly contributed to the magazine.
You have fulfilled the qualities of being a Montfortian by being a part of magazine. Few of
Montfort Vision, among many, are listed below:
• EDUCATION: Aims at overall development, transform the children into lifelong learners.
• BE ONE ABOVE THE OTHER: Aims not only being better than the other but better than
oneself, aim for perfection and best of all.
• LEADERSHIP: Aims to carve out the potential leaders by giving them opportunities. Aim that
leadership comes with responsibility towards the nation and the whole mankind.
• FARSIGHTEDNESS: Aim for the young children to dream for their future, the society and the
nation.
• TRADITIONS: Aim to move ahead to the needs of the day, at the same time remain down to
earth, tied to our cultures, traditions, values and heritage.
• ACHIEVEMENTS: Aim to move towards the top with best of sportsmanship, aims to put
every bit for the best. Aims to master a winning attitude without caring for a defeat.
• DETERMINATION: Aim for I-AM-POSSIBLE, forget impossible, aim to tackle difficult
situations.
• ACTIONS: Aim to positive actions, actions not of day dreaming but of constructive
achievements, aim to work tirelessly to release the desired goal with positive actions.
The responsibility of making learning happen cannot succeed in fulfilling this prime objective if
we remain static and complacent. The world outside is witnessing numerous changes in all fields
of life and if education is to equip the next generation to face the challenges ahead, we have to
become proactive and transform ourselves into learning organization. The first step towards this is
to promote a culture of thinking. In today’s environment we can’t perceive and practice education
as repetitive exercise. We must think of entering into a knowledgeable society.
We must develop our own material, using our own creativity and skills of improvisation. Creativity
and skills are shown by our litter ones in the form of contributions to the magazine. We all work
with the AXIOM that every child is talented.
Through this magazine I got an opportunity to talk to you. I am grateful to the esteemed editor and
her team or giving me this opportunity. As we are back to school after a gap of two years, I wish
each one of you a very fruitful school life so as to make you a better citizen and empower you
to take your independent decisions in the right direction throughout your life. Best wishes to the
editor, her team , and all MONTFORTIANS.
